Extraordinary people are at the heart of the microbial geochemistry laboratory. Their research extends from experimental work to exploring some of the most remote and extreme environments on Earth.
Research Positions
Training of highly qualified personnel is a top priority of the MGL. Many alumni of the laboratory hold faculty positions at Universities in Canada and abroad; others are working in a range of diverse enterprises including environmental consulting, resource analysis, and deep ocean mineral exploration.
Well qualified industrious and adventurous individuals with solid background training are always welcome to inquire about opportunities in the laboratory. Highest priority is given to those individuals with scholarships or fellowships.
